Southern Crush Wine Tours specializes in conducting group tours of all kinds. Whether it be for a corporate day out, a special occasion like a birthday, family reunion or even a hens weekend we can customize the solution that is just right for you.

If you are booking for a group and would like to customise your tour you can use our Budget Tool below to help you get the most out of your tour experience.

The Budget Tool is designed to help you understand what types of additions or subtractions can be made to help you stay within the boundaries of your budget. The Budget Tool is based on a group of between 15 and 20 passengers and prices are subject to change depending on your group's actual size, pick up location and any other special requests or requirements.

1. Escape to the Highlands:

Southern Crush is proud to offer this premium tour package as our standard tour. With departures available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays this wine tasting tour was specifically designed to be an all inclusive, comprehensive and relaxed tour experience. Our wine tours to one of Australia's great cool climate wine regions depart from and return to Sydney with a convenient pick up in the Southern Highlands at the Mittagong Visitor's Information Centre for people already in the area. Tours depart Sydney at 8:00am and return approximately 6:00pm.

2. Half-day corporate tours:

Tours are individually customised and quoted for corporate groups that have limited time but would like a premium quality half-day tour experience.

Sample Tour:

• Tasting at 2 wineries
  • First winery: Enjoy an interactive presentation on how to taste wine and then indulge in a cheese and wine pairing.
  • Second winery: Winery Tour and tasting with the wine maker followed by a 3-course gourmet lunch with wines paired to each course.
• Each guest will receive a 2-pack wine gift box with 1 bottle from each winery.

3. Team Building Tours:

Specially designed tours for groups that are looking for activities that incorporate team building and team bonding aspects. This tour is great for management groups or groups of competitive friends.

Sample Tour:

• Groups are split into teams and given basic instruction on why and how wines are commonly blended together.
• Each team is given measuring equipment and three bottles wine, which will be, blended together into that team's signature blend.
• Each team will come up with a name, label concept, and marketing plan for their wine.
• A panel of judges will then award a winner based on the merits of each team's final product.
• Lunch to follow with a dessert cooking demonstration and recreation contest where each team member is responsible for one stage of the dessert preparation and presentation.

Special Tours:

Periodically we will be running special tours that may incorporate events or themes in the Highlands such as Day On The Green Concerts. Please visit our website regularly or use our Contact Us page to register for an e-mail notification to be sent to you automatically as soon as special tours are announced. Special tours will have limited seating available and may require minimum numbers to proceed.

More people in your group does not always translate into a lower cost per head as with larger groups we need larger vehicles and may suggest adding an additional dedicated driver, allowing our guides to focus all of their attention on your group throughout the duration of your tour.

Based on a group of 15-20 people

1. $100 per head: Wine tasting at 4 wineries.
2. $110 per head: Wine tasting at 4 wineries, and personalized tasting kits.
3. $120 per head: Tasting at 4 wineries, personalized tasting kits, and cheese and wine pairing.
4. $150 per head: Tasting at 4 wineries, personalized tasting kits, cheese and wine pairing, and a 2-course gourmet lunch with Vegetarian options.
5. $155 per head: Tasting at 4 wineries, personalized tasting kits, cheese and wine pairing, 2-course gourmet lunch with Vegetarian options and a glass of wine with your meal.
6. $160 per head: (Escape to the Highlands standard Tour package) Wine tasting at 4 wineries, personalized tasting kits, cheese and wine pairing, 3-course gourmet lunch with Vegetarian options.
7. $165 per head: (Escape to the Highlands standard Tour package +) Wine tasting at 4 wineries, personalized tasting kits, cheese and wine pairing, 3-course gourmet lunch with Vegetarian options, and a glass of wine with your meal.
8. $40: two pack Gift Box of wine for each guest.
9. $75: two pack Reserve Gift Box of wine for each guest.

If you would like to pay cash on the day of the tour we will just need a credit card number to hold your reservation.
